The purchase of a yacht or boat is likely to be one of the most expensive items an individual may purchase. Whether you are a first time buyer or experienced sailor we can guide you safely through the excitement of buying a boat. We have a range of free guides that you can download to help you on your way.
The Second-hand market (brokerage)
Visit our Boats for Sale to browse through our selection of hand picked and personally viewed and appraised boats. If you cannot find what you are looking for then we offer a market search facility based on your specific requirements.
The Second-hand market (private purchase)
Sometimes you may find the boat you are looking for, advertised for sale by the owner instead of through a broker. It might be your first time purchase and without the support of a good broker you may worry about all the things that can go wrong. You may not feel comfortable negotiating directly with the owner and then there is the concern about checking title, paperwork and potentially transferring large sums of money directly to the owner. We offer a unique buyers representation service and by working together with marine lawyers we can ensure the safe conduct of your purchase from selection and viewing through to legal checks, financial transactions and completion. There are often complex legal requirements and contractual law issues surrounding the sale and taking advice before you commit yourself will help to ensure your investment is protected.
