Paul Singer, Director

Paul Singer is a leading figure in the UK leisure marine industry and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise built up from his early days growing up in Salcombe when his parents owned ‘Blue Water Sailing’ through to his position as Vice President Business Development for a maritime security company to the present day as yacht broker and industry consultant.

Paul is represented on the Board of the British Marine Federation (South West) as Secretary and Treasurer. The British Marine Federation represents all sectors of the marine industry in the UK. The South West Region is the largest region in the BMF accounting for 32% of the industry £2.095bn turnover and employing nearly 10,000 across the South West. Paul organises numerous activities and events in the South West including the Annual Conference and AGM and the highly successful Try A Boat Free! Try A Boat is held in Dartmouth every May and is a free try boating weekend. In 2011 we took 250 members of the public afloat and every year numbers have increased to over 500 per event.
Paul is also a part time lecturer at South Devon College, Noss Marine Academy. As part of the Higher Education University at South Devon College, Paul teaches the Yacht Industry module on the Foundation Degree in Yacht Operations.
